MapleLeaf Middlewick Holiday Cottages is an early
sixteenth century
Grade
II listed farmstead. Over the last few years the buildings have been
painstakingly restored and enhanced to provide a range of comfortable
accommodation that is attractive and sympathetic to the unspoilt beauty of
the mid Somerset countryside. Using natural stone and timber the interiors of all eight cottages are
a blend of old and new.
The heated indoor swimming pool is an ideal way to relax after a
day of walking, cycling, site-seeing or just communing with nature.
A small lending library offers an eclectic selection of pocket books along with a variety of
videos. Donations of books and DVD's are always much appreciated.
Services

your order and they will deliver. Do let us know so that we can make sure
someone is available to accept your delivery.
For
your added convenience a laundry and dry-cleaning service is available with
pick-up and delivery within a day or two.
The coin operated meters for utilities have
been eliminated and in place are meters which are read when you arrive
and again when you depart. (except for Bramley, which is still on a £
meter).
All the cottages have colour televisions, VCR's, microwave
ovens, clock radios. Some have washing machines.
For those cottages without a washing machine
there is a washer and drier in the Pool Building.
Bed linen and towels are included, except for
pool/beach towels.
Cots are available for all the cottages except Blenheim
and Orchard View. (we do have a small portable cot for the littlest
ones if needed in Blenheim or Orchard View).
The cottages are set around a courtyard with lawns and
gardens. There is ample car parking.
The Tor is at your back door and a 'must' for a walk.
