Middlewick is an early sixteenth century Grade II listed farmstead. The original farmhouse and outbuildings have been painstakingly restored and enhanced to provide a range of comfortable accommodation that is attractive and sympathetic to the unspoiled beauty of the mid Somerset countryside. Using natural stone and timber the interiors of all cottages are a blend of old and new.
All cottages are self contained with fully equipped kitchens. The larger cottages have washing machines and dishwashers. There is also a communal laundry room with tumble dryer (for use in inclement weather only please).
Bedding and towels are provided although you may want to bring a swimming towel if you plan to use the pool.
All our cottages
benefit from full central heating; the majority being heated from
Bio Mass heating system. Meadow Barn, the Annex and Tor View
also benefit from natural wood burning stoves for atmosphere and/or heating.
Logs, kindling and firelighters can be purchased from our shop. The
E-Dens and the Cabin are kept cosy with electric heating.
Blenheim and Bramley can be linked via a shared hall to the quiet garden - making them perfect for those wishing to share a space whilst maintaining a degree of privacy.
All the floor plans to our cottages can be seen on this link.
The heated indoor swimming pool and steam room are perfect for relaxing after a day of walking, cycling, site-seeing, communing with nature, or shopping till you drop.
The complex is away from the road and has ample private on-site parking so there is very little passing traffic.
