We require one third of the price as a reservation fee with the balance to be paid one month before arrival. If you are booking within one month of your arrival the total amount is required.
If the balance of payment is not received thirty days prior to arrival, we reserve the right to place the accommodation back on the market with a refund of the deposit payable in the event of a re-let. In the event you are unable to honour your booking we may retain the amount paid until a new booking is confirmed at which time all funds will be returned. It is suggested you purchase travel insurance to cover any unfortunate eventuality.
Group bookings of four or more cottages may be subject to a 10% surcharge in the event the balance is not paid 30 days prior to arrival. A refundable £100 deposit is required for group bookings to cover potential additional housekeeping costs to get the cottages back to their original condition. This amount is totally refundable provided: a) recycling is limited to the containers provided or arrangements are made for the disposal thereof; b) the premises is left in a clean and tidy condition with dishes, cutlery etc, washed and put away; c) in the event that furniture, crockery etc is moved from one cottage to the another, that it all be returned to the original position. Should it be necessary to rectify the condition of the cottages, function room, recycling, etc there may be a charge deducted from your deposit, based on time and/or damage. It is only on very rare occasions that we have had any difficulty and never have we had to exercise this option.
The utility meters will be read when you arrive and when you leave with any charges payable by card, cheque or cash at the time of departure.
The small laundry room (in the swimming pool building) has a washing machine and a dryer for use on those wet rainy days when drying on the outside clothes line just won't work. A charge is made for using these facilities.
Your cottage will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival and guests are expected to leave by 10am to allow our cleaning staff access. If you need to arrive outside these times, please give us a call.
We do accept well behaved dogs in selected cottages, please enquire for more information. A refundable £50 deposit is required for bookings with dogs.
Lost property is donated to charity after one month if not retrieved. Postage must be paid up front for any goods returned by mail.
Smoking is not permitted in the interiors of any of the buildings.
The lighting of fireworks is not permitted on the property at any time.
A £10 charge will apply for lost keys.
We aim to refund any refundable deposits due within 24 hours of departure. |
