Cider House, as it says on the label was the old Cider/apple store of Middlewick Farm. The two storey cottage has been restored to retain most of its original character. With high vaulted beams and exposed stonework it is a lovely and spacious one bedroom cottage to stay in either ‘by the night’ or ‘by the week’.
Set over two levels it is one of our most perfectly laid out cottages. The front door enters from the courtyard into a large open plan area with kitchen, dining room and lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay and having the lounge and dining room all together makes the cottage feel very comfortable.
Upstairs is one large bedroom with a double and a single bed. Additionally there is a pullout bed should you require the cottage to hold 4 people (extra charges apply).
Both upstairs and downstairs windows give a fantastic view over the Mendips to the front of the property.
The newly renovated en suite bathroom has a bathtub with an electric shower within it. Laufen sanitary wear finish off the space.
Cider House has full central heating from our Bio-Mass boilers. Not surprising our older cottages are the warmest in the winter and the coolest in the summer. Thick external walls do keep the weather outside.
Like all our cottages it is fully equipped with television and DVD player.
Cider House is one of our ‘by the night’ holiday cottages which means it can be rented for a stay from a single night through to a week throughout most of the year. Whether staying for 1 night or 1 week at Middlewick, Cider House is a cute little holiday cottage or the perfect stopover while in the area on business.
