A number of our cottages are dog friendly

Since we made Middlewick Holiday Cottages dog friendly we have had lots of 4 legged visitors come to stay. Kindly, they also brought their owners and the rest of their family, and so far so good – everyone has had a good time at Middlewick. Springfield (sleeps 6), Pippin (sleeps 6), the Annex (sleeps 4), Tor View (sleeps 2), Cabin (sleeps 2) and our E-dens (sleeps 2) are our dog friendly cottages.

The area around us, towns, shops and pubs are all really dog friendly and there are numerous walks to do.

We do make a small one off charge if you bring your dog (to cover extra cleaning requirements). Our current charge is £15 per dog for stays of 4 days or less and £25 per dog for longer stays.

When booking please ensure you let us know if you are planning to bring your dog along. This will allow us to confirm that your cottage is dog friendly, and that there are no special reasons that prevent us from taking dogs during your stay.

We want you and your dog to enjoy their stay with us at Middlewick but do ask that you keep your dog on a lead and under control at all times as not everyone feels comfortable in the company of our 4 legged friends. Also please watch out for our wandering free range chickens as they do not like to play with dogs much.

We also ask that you clear up any mess from your dog immediately, do not leave your dog unattended inside or outside of cottages either during the day or at night, keep them off the furniture and on departure vacuum/ sweep up any dog hair around the property.

Our three resident Labradoodles, Maggie, her daughter Ellie (pictured) and here granddaughter Poppy are ready to take your booking!
