Glastonbury Body Art Festival

Every January Glastonbury holds a Body Art Festival.  It is quite the event to visit so if you have the chance to come to Glastonbury you really should try and get tickets.

The Glastonbury Body Art Festival was launched in 2018 by international and award winning body painter Mel Broom and local artisan Stephen Duross.  It is a one day event to promote the wonderful art of body painting.  Artists from all over the UK come together to create incredible creations.

The day begins at 9am for the artists and the public are allowed access from 1.00pm – 4.00pm.  There is a admission fee with all the proceeds going towards local charity Children’s World.

In the evening there is a catwalk to music of all the artwork created during the day.  This is followed with a bar and disco until midnight.  Tickets for the evening are £10 and you are encouraged to dress up to the theme of the show.  (2019 the theme is Gods and Goddesses)

For more information visit the face book page for the event.  There you will find photos of the 2018 event and more information about this years event.  Why not make a weekend of it and stay at our Glastonbury Holiday Cottages.  Most are bookable by the night:  Book a Cottage
